Most of the residents I know on that side of the building just deal with it and the windows installed are sounds resistant so they close them. One other thing, why do the pedi-cabs have boomboxes? They are terribly loud and annoying. Anyone else bothered by the noise level in downtown? Since this would not be a oriority call, it is likely the response would not occur until after the restaurant is closed. Considering the location, the residents are loathe to call the police as they certainly have better things to do on the weekend nights (music/entertainment is Thur., Fri., Sat.), than answering a call about noise. ![]() When the music is playing, there is an echo effect & the bass is particularly bothersome. There is an alleyway, with access only via a locked gate. are 2 doors north (a small building separates the restaurant from the apt. Inn is directly behind & the CCBA Senior Garden apts. They have the dance/DJ area in the back section, which opens onto an alley. Candelas restaurant, 416 Third (between Island & J) has been playing their music at extra high volume.
